Curtain

Danial and I moved into our apartment in Seri Putra more than two and a half years ago. Since then, my sliding door has been without curtain because I just couldn't be bothered. I've always thought it was pointless as no one could see us since we're on the 12th floor and the view is really nice.

I'm not sure what got into me recently that made me go to Azizah Hias in Bangi to make curtain for the sliding door - must be the Anjung Seri magazine that I've been reading. I had a quick look in their catalog and found a lovely floral design that I really liked. The lady who was serving me looked for another material to go with it. After finalizing the design, I made the order and a month later I got my new curtain.

I really think it looks nice. I would consider the price a bit expensive, but considering that I'm not going to get another one anytime soon - maybe another 5 years, and how it makes the apartment feel more cosy, I think it's ok.

Ultrasound

Each time I go for my checkup at the gynae I look forward to the glimpse of my baby. It's really exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I find it amazing to see the changes that the baby goes through in only a few months.

It's positive

I'm pregnant. Dr Fazlina did not want to confirm it even though the UPT was positive. Only when she saw the hearbeat during the ultrasound was she convinced. I knew that she didn't want to give me false hope. I just could not hold back my tears when I looked at the monitor. I was overjoyed and grateful. She gave me a hug as she knew how long I've waited for this moment. Alhamdulillah.

Starting to blog

I'm finally doing it. I've succumbed to the pressure to create my own blog. I've tried to resist for so long, but I can't anymore. There's so much that I want to say, but there's no one who wants to listen. Well, it is not entirely true. My students have to listen to me during lectures, whether they want to or not, but I have so much more to say and it goes beyond flight dynamics.
